The Kurdish Community Centre (KCC), in Haringey, is looking for TWO part-time Turkish speaking Advice and Support Workers for our Supporting People Service.

The KCC Supporting People offers vulnerable people the opportunity to improve their quality of life. The Advice and Support Workers will work closely with clients to help them to identify and resolve issues which are preventing them from enjoying secure and independent lives.

The Supporting People programme is run in conjunction with our own Advice Centre which offers advice and assistance on a range of issues including housing, welfare, immigration, education and accessing healthcare.

Essential
The right to work in the U.K.
Good knowledge of U.K. welfare system
Fluency in the following languages English and Turkish

Desirable
Knowledge of immigration issues to OISC Level 1
Fluency (additionally to the above) Kurdish Kurmanji and/or Sorani or one of the following; Fasi, Arabic
Previous experience working in an advice oriented environment

Hours: Four days a week between Monday and Friday 09:00 to 17:00 (maybe negotiable)
Gross salary based on 4 day week £14,400

These positions require an enhanced CRB check.
