About the job
The Rethink Advice & Information Service provides a whole range of crucial support and information to people experiencing severe mental illness, as well as to their carers and to professionals. Our casework enables us to identify major issues and to provide evidence to improve mental health policy. You will work directly with our clients to provide advice on a wide range of issues. You will also contribute to the production of specialist information resources to assist our clients to make informed choices about care and treatment options.
About you
Ideally you will come from an advice background and/or have experience of working with our client group. Experience of researching and drafting information resources is also desirable. An interest in the issues affecting clients with mental health problems is desirable as well as a real commitment to working in this challenging area.
