The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers. At national Citizens Advice we work in close partnership with bureaux to ensure an effective and high quality service for all.

We are looking to recruit a Development Officer to join the Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF) National Disability face to face project management team. This FIF project has around 17 advisers providing face to face debt advice through a network of Citizens Advice Bureaux and other Agencies across the country. With an annual budget of over £1.6 million we work with over 10 partner agencies to deliver free, quality face to face debt advice to some of the most financially excluded groups of people.

Your role will be to work with the Project Manager and partner agencies to ensure the ongoing success of the project. This role will not only test your relationship management skills, it will also develop your existing numerical, financial and contract monitoring experience. The ability to juggle competing deadlines and priorities is essential. The ability to produce detailed written reports would be advantageous.

Citizens Advice values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, as they are currently under represented in our workforce.

Closing Date: 10 February 2010 10:00

Interviews: 22 February 2010
